I’m a huge believer in the importance of doing pull-ups if you’re a grappler.
Regardless of whether you’re doing BJJ or Submission Grappling, Judo or Freestyle Wrestling, Sambo or Catchwrestling there’s a lot of pulling, clinching and holding in grappling.
There’s no better exercise to develop your pulling that pull-ups, and you can do them anywhere: the gym, the park, on playgrounds, or even at home.
In the video below (which was a short story yesterday on my Instagram Page) I talk about a simple piece of kit that allows you to do pull-ups just about anywhere.
